From Policy Vision
to the World Stage
The BAF Plan originated from New Taipei City's "Vocational 6.0 — New Top World" policy white paper, representing the largest-scale vocational workshop aesthetic transformation initiative in Taiwan's educational history.
Core concept: shatter the "old and function-only" stereotype of vocational education, and through spatial environments, cultivate students' spirit of "respecting professionalism and focusing on hands-on craftsmanship."
The initiative uses a competitive selection process — 3 schools approved per year, each receiving up to NT$5M for renovation, plus NT$500K annually for 3 years in operational support, ensuring every transformed workshop thrives sustainably.
"This is not merely a renovation of training spaces — it is a transformative action to revolutionize vocational education and cultivate the key talent of the future. Aesthetics and function are not a choice of one or the other; space itself is a form of immersive education."

Launch · National First
Taiwan's First Vocational Workshop Aesthetic Transformation Policy
Launched under the "New Taipei Vocational 6.0 White Paper," the first BAF workshop opened at Danshui SHS: the "New Taipei Hyper Horticultural Healing Library." NHVS Mold & Die's workshop won the Golden Pin Design Award — the first industrial vocational workshop in Taiwan to receive this honor.

Aesthetics Integration · Scale-Up
Aesthetics Design Axis Added, NT$15M Annual Investment
Plan formally revised (2024.07.12) to integrate "Aesthetic Design" as a core axis. Four key partners joined — Aesthetics Cell Association, CSID, Taiwan Design Research Institute, and NTNU — establishing a complete design review and mentorship system.

Three Schools Sweep USA, Japan, Germany & Taiwan Awards
All three Phase 1 schools — Sanchong SHS, Danshui SHS, and Ruifang SVS — won design awards, creating an unprecedented achievement in vocational education history. Taiwan's first "Vocational Aesthetics Enhancement Workshop" was held (2025.08.12). Sanchong SHS's "AI 5.0 Human-Machine Collaboration Center" officially opened.

Future Industries Upgrade · New Award
NHVS Wins US Muse Gold; Future Industries Curriculum Expands
NHVS Applied English's Language Immersion Classroom won the US Muse Design Awards Gold Award — the latest international recognition. The 2026 plan was approved, introducing aerospace, quantum technology, and clean energy as next-frontier curriculum environments.

30 World-Class Workshops Completed, Total Investment Exceeds NT$100M
By 2030, 30 premier vocational workshops will be transformed — a national first — with cumulative investment exceeding NT$100M. New Taipei City will become a global benchmark for vocational education aesthetics, producing world-class talent equipped with bilingual ability, aesthetic sensibility, and future-industry readiness.
